Putra Sas

We take Broodmares for foaling, temporary boarding to walk in to stallions during the season and also have a good number of permanent boarding Mares. Our facilities include; two large foaling barns with CCTV linked to the stud house, six straw turnout barns and small paddocks for Mares and newly-born foals before being turned out together.

We use our own transport to take Mares to other studs, enabling them to Walk In to Stallions.

Putra Sas (IRE) is our resident thoroughbred teaser on the stud, and he is also available to cover mares, currently boasting a 100% fertility rate.

Paul Ferguson of Valley Equine Hospital at Lambourn is our breeding specialist Vet and we have had exceptional results working with him.

"There is a wealth of experience in practical horsemanship at North Farm Stud, which is reflected in the excellent care, which the horses receive. Grace's attention to detail with the brood mares is unsurpassable and is reflected in excellent fertility figures achieved"
